Long Island Spiritist Doctrine Study Group has been in existence for over a decade, its sole purpose is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for pursuing your spiritual path. The early Christians' worshipped and studied together, not on their knees, but in their homes, in the great forests or even on the banks of lakes. Early Christian churches did not worship idols, or used any outward ceremonies to practice the Gospel, other than simple and heartfelt prayers. Questions and deep discussions in matters of faith were always encouraged and the leaders of the early Christian churches considered themselves as students first, before being teachers.

The means of spreading Jesus Christ's teachings was achieved by small groups branching off from larger ones, nothing could hold back the truth from the world, yet, mankind has found many ways to lose the true meaning the Gospel. Many people today feel dissatisfied with their parent's religion and have strayed from the church in waves, but their spiritual hunger does not dissipate. We are all looking for a sense of spirituality that fits the time and place we live in, one that does not discriminate or is intolerant, one that embraces science and common sense to fit the modern world. Spiritism has come, not to replace the teachings of the past but to illuminate them with the help of Great Luminary Spirits.
