Angela Denton, LMSW 

Angela obtained her Masters in Social Work through Stony Brook University in 2008. Angela will discuss the importance of family support and access to resources for the treatment and management of mental illness in the community. Angela currently works at Stony Brook Medicine as a psychiatric social worker and has worked in the mental health field for at least 10 years. Angela has extensive experience providing a high level of support to vulnerable and complex populations as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams and community support systems. Angela has knowledge of local mental health community resources that can be utilized by anyone struggling in the community.


Debora Beldowicz

Debora Beldowicz Graduated in psychology/criminal justice in 1998 from Montclair State University NJ, currently finalizing her second Master's Degree.  Works as a life coach at private office, coordinates LAPS (Latin American Psychological Support Center) in NJ. President of Good Harvest Fraternal Group, a non-profit 501(c) (3) chariable organization comprising a Spiritist Center and a Community Sector, located in Newark NJ. 


Julio Carvalho

Julio Carvalho first encountered the Spiritist Doctrine when he was about 14 years old.  Since then, he has become an active participant in the United States Spiritist movement, has co-founded the Spiritist Center Divine Light in Newark-NJ which he coordinates with a group of friends and has become a prolific speaker, disseminating the Spiritist message not only in the Tri-State area but also in the Union County Jail where he works as a Mental Health Counselor.


Dulcinete Story-Cornwell

Since the age of nineteen, Dulcinete has been involved in Spiritism, As a worker in Brazil within the Spiritist Organization, as a volunteer, and particpant in mediumship meetings. Upon her embarking on a new life in the United States, the course of events, as planned prior in the Spirit World, has led to the founding and directorship of The Long Island Spiritist Doctrine Study Group, founded in 2006 on Long Island, and whose purpose continues to be the dissemination of Spiritism in English. Her background in early childhood development and in correspondence with her work in the field of daycare has led to a blending of her ongoing study of child psychology and spiritual awareness of the great challenge of parenting in the material world. Dulcinete has also a background in theater, graduated from the conservatory school, Macunaima, Sao paulo Brazil, major in Tragedia and Dreama.



Marcelo Medeiros

Marcelo Medeiros, raised in a Catholic family, Marcelo Medeiros started studying Spiritism in the 2000s. He has been a practitioner at IESS, Inner Enlightenment Spiritist Society in New York, since 2012, and also produces and edits videos in English about Spiritism. Marcelo is a journalist and works for a Brazilian TV Channel as an International Correspondent.


Marina Story

Marina has been a believer in Spirtism since before birth she always says. She is a big supporter of her local Spiritist center that her mother presides, and attends weekly classes and even teaches once in a while. Over the Summer, Marina had provided around 10 podcasts to the Allan Kardec Radio based on her study and understandings of Spirtism. She has a deep passion for the arts, such as singing and dancing, and had even performed at many Spiritist Events. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, and is looking forward to finishing her senior year in highschool, and  moving on to college.


Flavio Zanetti

Flavio has always been amazed by the degree of rational comprehension and comforting Spiritism brings to humanity. He is an avid student contributing to the Spiritist movement across the United States and abroad. Since 1999, he has held different positions for the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Massachusetts. Between 2008 and 2012 he acted as the Programs Director for the United States Spiritist Council. Professionally, he leads a global Strategy & Planning team. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and a Master's in Business and Administration focused on Strategy and Leadership Development. Flavio lives in Boston with his wife Flavia and their two beautiful twin daughters Emilia and Teresa.
